About CAPSS
- Clean Air Policy Support System (CAPSS) estimates the annual emissions of 9 major air pollutants (SOx, NOx, NH3, VOCs, PM2.5, PM10, TSP, CO and BC) that emit from pollutant sources (in the forms of point · surface · mobile).
- The emission data produced by CAPSS are grouped by pollutant, source, and region and offered in diverse statistics through the National Air Pollutant Emissions Service.
- CAPSS data are utilized as supporting data for national air quality policies, the Total Air Pollution Load Management System, air quality forecasting, a comprehensive plan for air quality improvement and an implementation plan for air quality management at a regional level, and as basic research findings for assessment of policy impacts.
